THREADED is a Global Book Project that stitches books and readers across the globe by Threads of Fate, tying them to the books they were destined to discover.

           Participants in the Threaded Global Book Project set forth on a journey dictated by destiny. Readers place Thread-marked books in public locations, setting the stage for serendipitous encounters. Readers can also Thread books intentionally in free lending libraries, among book clubs, within shared-interest groups, and the like.  Any book that is shared can be Threaded. 

 

          The Threaded Global  Book Project was founded on the spark of joy that results from connecting with strangers and friends (both near and far) over special books.   Threaded shares those joys with readers around the world.  Users liken Threaded to having a pen pal, finding a message in a bottle, and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants!

        The Threaded Project's mission is to see "How far can one book go?"  both literally and figuratively.  How far can one book travel?  How many lives can one book touch?

 

           Each new Thread marks a new chapter in the narrative, as readers report their finds and messages on ThreadedProject.com. From there, the Threads continue, with readers passing the books along, or starting their own Threads by contributing new books to the project!  Immerse yourself in shared stories and messages from fellow readers and uncover pending book connections waiting to be discovered on the Big Map!
